The nuclear option to get the thread on track. I like.

Please don't trash iginla to make yourselves feel better about the flames. We're all fans of the flames and iginla was a hero to this team for a long time. Just feel good enough about the flames from how they are playing so that you don't feel the need to trash iginla. At this point, people who do that seem like they are trashing a guy just because he got older. Plus we all know he'll get on a hot streak and score 10 goals in 9 games like he does every year. He and the bruins will be fine.

So, "pretty sure" for "almost every team"? Not an exact science then?

Hey, I just had a thought. You know how Monahan has had quite a tear, and the thought out there is that he can't keep it up, and that he's bound to play worse eventually? What if this IS him playing worse! It is theoretically possible.

Is "Money" the official nick-name going forward?

I hope Feaster comes out and trolls the media when he announces what they're going to do with Monahan...
"I have just met with Sean Monahan and informed him that he will be returning to Ottawa..." wait for the shocked responses to die down "...on March 30th, when the Flames play the Senators."

I want to combine Monahan with our streaky scorers of the past and future like Iginla and Stempniak and Glencross to form one megatron player that patrols the ice and makes other teams quake with fear.

He didn't score in the Anaheim game. That was his slump

Officially, I don't think nick names can be 3 syllables long.
Besides... Money is like "money in the bank"

Well Mona (that's a girls name, right?) just doesn't make sense and if its Mon-A-han, Mon-O-rail makes even less sense.

Money is much better. Monorail is too many syllables for a good nickname. I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR THAT LAST SYLLABLE SON.
