Why didn't they ask Heshal? You know- the veterenarian.
Didn't the episode take place within one day? Rick was out of the prison for most of the episode.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Hershal checking out the dead pig next episode.

I could be wrong but didn't Rick and Carl see the pig, then Rick talked to Hershal, then Rick left? Didn't Hershal tell him to wear his gun when he left?

Ah, good point.

Yea, really weird that Rick wouldn't of mentioned that Hershal.

Spoiler!

That gnome candle's wax seems a bit too much like his eyes and ears are bleeding to be a coincidence.
OMG zombie gnomes are the next apocalyptic threat.

I took this picture when I was in Seattle this summer. I didn't think anybody would believe me. The threat IS real, and will come at great reasonable cost.

Spirit Halloween on MacLeod Trail has about 5 different types of zombie gnomes. Not sure of the price.

There is also a battery operated one that shuffles side to side and growls and snarls. Ran me $25.

So, it looks like the zombies were being lured from within the prison. Then we have somebody burning bodies as well. Any guess as to who it might be?

For me the biggest question of this episode was when did Hershel grow his leg back?

My guess is Rick's baby.

It can't possibly be anyone else other than the medic...it's not going to be one of the generic characters or anyone from the original group...it could be Rick and i hope it is for a nice twist...but I've watched enough episodes of CSI to know the killer is someone they introduced early on, has very little screen time and only a few lines and is someone the writers hope you forgot about.

I think in the premiere they showed Hershel bolting a prosthetic leg to his stump. So, that will make working on his scenes much easier!

Unless they go the "Carole has gone crazy" route, and she got someone else to help her. She's become a larger character in the show this season, and the scenes with her and the kids needs to lead somewhere. D'Angelo is just too damn obvious in this case, and he could be who we're led to believe did it.

Although I assume the same person feeding the walkers is also the same person who killed the two sick people, and I have no idea why Carole would do that.

I'll take the kid who was naming the zombies who is "messed up" according to her sister for a leather glove.

I think the main theme is that they will have to move to the camp, because the soil and ecosphere of the environment is contaminated on account of all the zombies dying.

The worms poison the pigs, the pigs poison the people and now the people die and eat each other. So be nice to your ecosphere.

I was just really happy Rick didn't have to look after all these new people that were eaten at the outset of the show. Also, when he decided to use his guns again.

This season is kind of getting Dexter final season silly. Hopefully the writers clean things up in upcoming episodes as this season so far has been pretty sloppy. Is Rick going to get sick or the fact that that he had pigs blood sprayed on his face and spent all that time in the pig farm going to point to the pigs not being the source of the sickness? If it originated from the pigs nobody would have more contact with them.

So someone dumb it down for me and tell me why they dont have a couple people doing constant zombie killing inbetween the fences..easy kills and it tones down the mobs....seems simple to me...

Kill them easy style and then burn them....

Yeah, I don't get that either.

I know people would get tired of constantly killing these things but it's better than worrying about the herd at the fence.

Why didn't they send out a team when they first noticed them piling against the fence after the gunshot?

I always switch my brain off for shows like this and just try and enjoy the tension and action, but it's getting harder to do.
