There is still hope that Flames management can see the public's outrage and go back to the drawing board.

Ask Buffalo and NYI fans if that actually ever happens.
If anything, they've already made a million of them and are just waiting for the announcement. Pretty much impossible to go back once RBK, the Flames and the NHL give the go ahead on a new design.

But there is 100% a flaming C somewhere on the jersey based on teaser vids. Maybe one shoulder patch? Do they ever do two different shoulder patches? Or maybe the captain C?
|
That's upsetting, pretty much confirms a 'C' under the script (and throws another idea I had out the window). Do you recall if the 'C' was on red or black?

Wishful thinking. As I mentioned, this is a leak from the game, not a confirmed final version. What this person might have uncovered may have been a placeholder.

Thanks bud. Yeah, it's not a terrible design that got leaked. Just a bit… unfinished. Hopefully Calgary has kept working since that concept was proposed.

I don't recall. But I will be paying a lot more attention to the jumbotron at tonight's game.

I will say the striping from the leak is closer to what Split98 had posted above.
The yellow is thicker then what was depicted on the NHL 14 leak.
No outline on the black shoulder yokes though.

There's no chance of that happening at this point. Uniform changes have to be approved by the NHL almost a year in advance. They're not going to change them two weeks before they're unveiled.

I never loved the reds. But those whites, that were the home jerseys at the time, were always my favorite. A white #16 Guy Chouinard jersey as a Christmas present form my parents was my first hockey jersey. I don't think I got another one until I went back for the playoff games in 2004 and my friends had a 2004 red jersey waiting for me.
I have no doubt that those were by far the best 2 jerseys the Flames have ever worn. It may not be even coincidence that they are the only home jerseys we've won playoff series in.

LOL re read it again... you said it's the only home jersey the Flames won a play off series in...they won 3 play off series in 04...so they've won a series wearing a different home jersey

The only TWO jerseys is what he said.
Read before you get all nitpicky, now you just look silly.

Not nitpicky...just a tad confused is all, but now that he's reposted, it makes more sense to me...I got distracted by the pictures
