Unless, of course, you actually believe a woman with no weapon can do this:

Yeah, that's what I thought as well. That was the cop not paying attention, racing to the scene.

As for staying on this topic....

This quote makes me shake my head, although its also very common among loved ones who see theirs doing insane things..

Quote:
"My sister just totally didn't deserve this," said Valarie Carey, who was a New York police officer. "There are going to be a lot of different stories being told by people that claim they may know her. They don't. She was a law-abiding citizen. She had no political agenda."
Yeah....not so much.

I get that nobody would want to believe their sister was capable of such things, but all it takes is about 20 seconds of watching the various clips to know she was most certainly not "law abiding" on that fateful day.

No matter what caused all this behaviour, the outcome (as tragic as it was) was inevitable.

You're really reaching with that one. She may have been law-abiding before that day. So it's a valid thing to say. That's probably why they said "she was a law abiding citizen."

Maybe..or they could have used past tense because she is deceased?

Either way, she was not that way on the day she died in a hail of bullets...all which could have easily been avoided had she just stopped her car when asked and yelled at to do so multiple times.

Of course she wasn't law abiding on that day. That's not what that phrase even implies. They're saying the person in question was law abiding before they uncharacteristically drove their car into a gate.

I get that people say it all the time, and it doesn't make sense when that person has a history of criminal activity, but we don't know all the facts of her life before this. That's why you're really trying hard to reach with this one.

I have yet to find any footage or her alleged "ramming" of the gates or whatnot at the White House. Considering the undamaged front end of her vehicle in its final rest position, I can only deduce that something less nefarious occurred, which led into the police chase that followed.

Unlike most video clips the news media shows, here is what was captured by a bystander. Basically it includes the coralling of the car.

She backs up and takes off again, with seven gun shots clearly taking place on her after she is in motion. No video evidence to this point has indicated that lethal force is necessary. As I understand it, law enforcement personel are trained not to shoot at moving vehicles.

She manages to get away and lead them towards the Capitol Hill at which point she crashes and then is shot multiple times by those following her. This is the vehicles final resting place.

Until any further evidence is provided, I am in the camp that this was excessive force.

And don't forget the impact of coming down off of psychotropic drugs. That same aspect has been a key factor in many mass shootings.
