Looking forward to the beta. I hope they do away with those awful maps like Metro and Seine Crossing.

Looks like some knob decided to run his team's destroyer aground at the 1:41 mark lol. I love the new remix of the BF theme.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up about player controlled ships. I'd imagine that the crash is a scripted event ala the tower coming down in BF3. I know the player controlled ships caused a ton of lag in 1942, and there was also the ability for jerks to take your spawn point out of bounds.

Yes it is scripted, as soon as the windmill collapses the ship is set adrift and crashes into an island, near the "C" base in conquest. If your team controls C, you will be able to access/use the anti-air batteries on the grounded ship.

Man ... this is going to make me sound old, but it's just too detailed. I find it much harder to play FPS when the graphics are so advanced like this.
Doesn't make you sound old, just that we're starting to approach the Uncanny Valley with real-time rendered games. The next 10 years are going to be really cool/unsettling as we get closer and closer to the drop off.
Did any one see the stream they had going on twitch the last few days for gamescon? Game looked good. The choppy waves, multiple scopes. I'm looking forward to the game. Be nice if they aren't already pimping the premium content already though.
