Oh, now the real fun starts. Good luck getting a shot on goal being down a goal against the Coyotes.

And of course, I start watching only to see us give up the goal.

8 game point streak, in the NHL. On the Flames, who were basically icing an AHL caliber team.

For expecting it only when you expect it and ignoring the times he does.

Apparently Nicushkin has been outstanding as well.

It's the first season of the rebuild. I think Calgary is a little starry-eyed with their top prospects. Hopefully not too much of back-patting going on inside the team.

That you want to see Sven dominate, in the preseason, right now and suggesting because he hasn't done that (even though he has looked very good at times in various games) he should be sent to the minors and be taught a lesson. You're focusing on the training camp alone and dismissing the times he's shown he can be an NHL player, in NHL games.
Playing well in the NHL gives him a leg up on other players, he's shown that he can do it so it gives him more leeway with the coaches and Feaster. I'd love to see him just take over a game but sometimes that doesn't happen.
Outside of Monahan he's been the best young player to be totally honest. Expectations have you putting way too much pressure on the 20 year old.

Ben Street's looked pretty good so far. Nice little steal and set up for Glencross there.

Ignoring it when he does? When has he dominated a game in a Flames uniform?
