I would certainly hope so. There's no way it could be covered properly based on municipal taxes alone with all the inter-city/provincial traffic it handles.
The province could argue that once Stoney Trail is completed there is no reason that any non-Calgary traffic would use Deerfoot? Any take back agreement by the city would need to come with allowance of toll roads on City managed streets and the reduction of the license plate lookup fee from the province IMO.

In case anyone is interested in the longer video, the reporter seems to be wanting more salaciousness, I dont know TVO but from that guy I would assume its something akin to People Magazine.

TVO = TV Ontario; it can best be thought of as an Ontario version of PBS. Low budget current affairs shows, kids shows, old movies, some older british shows, etc. Similar to the old Alberta Access network (which is apparently now CTV 2)

Roads is looking to see if there's the geometry available to add a lane westbound Peigan to allow greater capacity through that intersection. Also looking closely at signal timing - of course 52nd is a big corridor now and Stoney is also meaning more pressure here.
Bunk, any update on this?

Was the utility work on 9th and 9th SW planned for September - October or was it delayed?
Can the mayor fire the moron who decided to tear down the bridge at 14 st and 9th ave and also close two lanes at 9th and 9th AT THE SAME TIME?! You know what that is?
