I just hope he does not disrupt the real gem of our organization: Weisbrod
Weisbrod talks a good game but what has he done to show he's a gem? I'm lukewarm on all these US college players he's brought in as I am lukewarm on the Jankowski pick and the 2012 draft outside of Monohan. I still feel the Flames best draft in over a decade was the 2011 draft and he had nothing to do with that. I'm optimistic that he walks as good as he talks but I need more time to see before I consider him a gem.

Don't you ever second guess the architect! (wish I had photoshop skills)
Missed all this fun last night. I am more shocked that moon is on side with this (potential) move than the move itself. I seriously don't remember him ever being positive about any move the Flames have made, even though I am sure he has been.
You know your team is getting a backwards deal when moon approves of it.
Would love if the Flames were just trolling everyone and the press conference was to A) Announce the finalists for the goal song, B) Release the new jerseys, or C) Announce Kippers retirement.
Haha wouldn't that be something? I'd be OK with jerseys or Kipper announcements, however with all this Burke speculation it would be kinda disappointing. The goal song won't be unveiled until the home opener I believe.
If this really is to give Burk a role as president of some sort and Feaster stays as GM, that is just inviting all sorts of GM controversy and tiffs over who is running the show, etc. Why would they intentionally want to set themselves up for that.
