People against Light Em Up because it's by a band they don't like are ridiculous.
The song has a great hook that feels like it fits perfectly in with the Flames scoring a goal. Yo u don't have to be a FOB fan to dig it, lord knows I'm not.

I've already voiced my concerns about the RATM song, but the FOB one, while catchy seems a little too "pop" for my liking. I'm not sure though, I wish I had something better to suggest!

Isnt there a heavier version of the light em up song? I swear I've heard one where the ~50 second mark is a lot heavier. IMO that's the only problem with that one, its too laid back. Otherwise its perfect.

If the Flames could team up with the Mohones to change the lyrics somewhat to Paint the Town Red I think it would be amazing, although some probably feel it has too much of a Boston feel to it and might not appeal to all folks.

Or could it be that some don't like the high pitch squeak the vocalist tries on the word "fire"?
Its a bad song and the "squeak" on "fire" is horrible. Maybe if they could hire a real vocalist that could hit that note it would be good for a goal song.
