I agree it would be a great fit, I just can't believe they're even talking after the deadline snubbing. Would be interesting to see how Bruins fans react if he does go there.

He should go there and admit he made a huge mistake in choosing Pittsburgh over Boston; that'll go over well with their fans and management.

They will be fine with it. Now they get Iggy and do not have to give up the package if it happens.

If they're talking, it's because they're professionals .

All this "snubbing" nonsense is manufactured by the media and eaten up by the fans.

I'm not so sure. Unless Julien can get through to Iggy on the importance of 200 ft play, I think Iginla might be a point of frustration for Julien. But who knows, he even had Jagr back-checking so we will see. But the Bruins system relies on every single player having a solid two-way game, something Iginla hasn't shown for a long time.

But he would look great in Bruins silks so give'r

Surprised Iginla hasn't signed with any team yet, guess he must be taking his time in deciding.

I'm not he could be looking for a length of contract other GM's are not comfortable with and Meehan is known around the league for being difficult to negotiate with.

At this point in Iginla's career I don't think Meehan is going to be too tough to deal with. You be tough to deal with when you've got something everyone wants. I don't think Iginla is terrible by any means - but I think his hard ball days are long gone.

Lucic - Krejci - Iginla should be a fun line to watch this year. Could be a career year for Lucic for goals; Iginla is a better playmaker than Horton.

Now that this is signed, got to wonder if he gave Pittsburg first crack to match, and ended up with Boston.

I doubt it seeing as the Pens only have $600k in cap space with 20 guys signed.
