On the bright side the flames didn't take shinkaruk, thank god.

How do any of you know he'd be available at 28, wouldn't you have freaked out anyways?
The Flames like him, they liked him enough at 22. He's a skilled player and super fast. Focus on the guy they got and not the guy TSN had in the teens.. who still isn't picked.

And Washington passes on Shinkaruk as well. Do these guys know something that we don't or... what? Burakowsky is a good player though.

I still can't believe Hunter is available.
And we maybe shouldn't jump the gun on this guy we drafted before we learn about him. If he is one of the best skaters in the draft, I'm happy about that being he is 6'1" and can move. I'm still intrigued.

Guys calm the #### down. A lot of teams are passing on Shinkaruk and you're imploding even though you don't know a damn thing about Poirier

I would have thought he'd have been there at #28, but I'm liking the things that I'm reading about him and the Jankowski pick is looking good so far, so I'm not going to get upset about it. If we're going to go off the board, I'm just glad that we did it with #22 instead of #6.

Poirier is a blazer on the ice and he's 6-2 with good hands and shot. That's great.

I wish people who are saying he's a good pick and to relax to just stuff it already. This guy is easily available at 28, why the hell not take Shinkaruk or trade down?? Feaster and his god damn ego.

Keep calm and carry on, CP, just hope that Zykov is there at 28 but knowing Feaster, going to be another pick no one has heard about. Really wanted a right wing.

Because they're the Flames

Because they've done very little to this point to make us believe or think otherwise..

To be fair, I believe that from 20-60 it really is a crap shoot; lots of good players with various attributes.
That being said, to not take Shinkaruk is a surprise, but we aren't the only team that passed on him.
