What are some of the nouns that Nenshi used to describe the canoeists he saw on the river?

I use my garden hose and a soft bristled extension brush. No soap, it is bad for the enviroment.....
By rig, I meant SUV.........I just like my vehicle to be clean, it is a hobby....and by hobby I mean obsession....

If you're obsessed with washing your vehicle and keeping it clean, I'll have call BS on not using any kind of soap. I'd say you just threw that comment in there to keep the CP moral police at bay.

Bunk, whenever the mayor gets 5 minutes, and I know that is a tough task at the best of times, much less now... but when he gets 5 minutes can you ask him to sign up and just say a quick "you're welcome" to all of us thanking him over the past couple of days.
I'd love that.

For now, I would connect them with groups like YYCHelps, Volunteer Calgary, Community Associations, and the like.
The City is currently organizing volunteer coordination with help from Volunteer Calgary and some other groups. There will be a lot more information about how/when to help in the coming days.

Yes, he is the only one that has access to his twitter account. All him.
You can wash your vehicle if really necessary - just please be very judicious with water use generally.

This X1000. I've been waiting for a Nenshi sighting on CP since this thread started. He's truely an incredible leader and this event has been handled in a way that should have other municipalities taking note.
I know Nenshi's probably the type of guy who won't take much credit, but he really deserves it.

What nouns would Nenshi have used if he was allowed to?

Initially I thought he meant to say he had some adjectives as opposed to nouns. Both work and in different ways.

I would think that having the key would be sufficient, but I don't strictly know. I'd say just go down, we had a non-resident owner checking a place in my building yesterday.

Bunk, when will we know whether council voted in favour of an extension for paying property taxes? Mine are stuck downtown and I cannot get into my building. Thanks

I am pretty sure I saw tweets from the city about property tax extensions.

Vote won't happen for a while, but it would be retroactive. You'll be ok. In any event they should be able to look up your bill at one of the service centres that have been set up in each quadrant even if you don't have it with you.

Hey Bunk!
I was just wondering if you know when the 96th Ave Extension from Deerfoot to Harvest Hill Blvd will open to traffic?
I know that it will open only partially at first, but on the City of Calgary website it just says "2013".
