Nah send the head up to Edmonton and have it placed in Mac-T's bed.
Godfather Style.
Then next week he can trade us Hall and Eberle for Stajan and Butler.

Chances are that Mac-T would have a ocular socket relationship with Harvey's head.

Now Flames players won't have a choice about going into dirty areas.

The one good thing about this, is the Flames will be forced to buy all-new equipment. From what I've heard, most of the stuff in that arena was ancient.

They weren't going to cart all the old stuff into the new arena, so no it's not a good thing.

Not accurate. No. The jumbotron was about 4 years old. The building itself is showing it's age a bit, not the contents.

Hopefully this forces them to change the music. No more Cotton Eye Joe for all that is good and pure...

The pictures above seem to have the lights on in the dome. I am no expert but if there is power and lights the damage to the electrical system not as great as once feared?

I think it's just the electrical in certain areas that would be damaged

I believe the Dome is running on backup/emergency generators right now, not on their own central electrical system.
However, the fact that lights and such turn on is a slightly better sign then flipping the switch and nothing comes on.

“Whatever you could imagine - just quadruple that,” said King of the carnage.
“It’s a surreal scene. The water line is above the door of the media room and helmets are hanging from all sorts of places because like everything in there - garbage cans - they floated to the top and then hooked onto something. The dressing room is... well, I’m generally not at a loss for words but I can’t describe it.”
King said framed pictures of all the old teams were still screwed to the wall but it was the gigantic photo outside the dressing room that may turn out to be as symbolic an artifact as any recovered in the 30-year-old building.
It’s a 12-foot wide photo of the club’s Cup-winning crew minutes after their triumph at the Montreal Forum.
Hanging proudly as a reminder of past glory and future dreams, the iconic photo is signed by almost every member of the team.
“It’s grey but still intact,” said King, thrilled to report one of the few artifacts stored in the bowels of the Dome to survive Friday’s flood.
“Like that championship team, that photo endures. It’s still hanging there with a series of water lines on it. Maybe we shouldn’t restore it. Maybe that’s a part of the history as well.”
Jamie Macoun, for one, loves the idea.
“As long as I’m still looking good,” joked the former defenceman, hosting several evacuated friends in his Calgary home.

Also according the King the Zambonis survived but the club was going to replace them anyways

The Hitmen just released their preseason schedule - with no games in the Saddledome. Have they done this in the past?
