I'm leaning towards shea theodore, but i honestly haven't seen mueller play very much, so i'm hesitant to vote. This is a tough one!

The only right answer is for the Flames to acquire a 4th 1st rounder

I'd be satisfied with adding a second rounder, actually...at least one more in the Top 45 or so would be awesome.

Hartman and Zykov would massively improve our RW depth.

I was actually impressed with Petan in the first Winterhawks game I saw in the Mem Cup. Thought he was less of a factor later. Still don't think we should be taking small guys unless they are clearly the BPA. I think the Flames would love to land him in the early 2nd if we somehow end up with a pick in that range.

Yeap, and hopefully if the Flames do take Fucale, one of the people freaking out the most will be one of the 15+ people who picked him the poll.

I call that "pulling it a Lt. Spears".

Mueller for me... Bowey looks like a long, long term project. Intrigued by Burakovsky; pure sniper. Hartman is interesting, but I don't see much point using a 1st on a bottom 6 energy forward. Is he a Hartnell or a Jackman?

Ideally I would have snapped up a better defence prospect at 22 & picked a winger or another C at 28.

I think that if he turns out like projected he is by far the best option here. I also don't subscribe to the stupid "don't take a goalie in the first round" philosophy especially when the team has 3 first round choices.

With there not being a ton of intriguing options here think it is best to go with the guy who has the best upside, most likely to reach the NHL and is great value.

I am also not all that keen on the goalie options the Flames have now and barring a big jump in what they have shown don't see anyone who is likely to be a starter in the NHL.

Fucale should progress in line with the Flames rebuild and be ready to step into the starters role in 3-4 years when the Flames are ready to contend.

If they take him at 6 I will be but at 28 or even 22 (not happy but understand) no freaking out from me.

Who knows how good Fucale becomes, but there'll be a lot of silly looking posts in here if he turns out to be the next Hasek

I went with Petan as I like the higher risk/reward picks with the team having 3 picks in the top 28.
