Scoring Winger

My one buddy who's an Oiler's fan is pretty choked, he thought Teemu was a lock for the Oilers next season. Hartikainen seems like a great third line player, like dammage79 says, hard on the puck, gritty and he has pretty good hands/shot to boot. It's surprising to see him go to the KHL after putting in good time into the AHL.
I wonder if he was offered an awesome contract or if he didn't like his chances with the Oilers going forward, or maybe both?

Ramo is likely a quality Backup or bad starter, an upgrade on Joey Mac, but not by leaps and bounds with Berra being a slightly better Henrik Karlsson. Raanta could be another Backstrom (mid tier starter)

Don't be discouraged folks. CG "thinks" he knows his prospects.
I've barely seen any of the three but there's no way the gap is that wide.

Canucks and John Tortorella are talking. Is one of the strong candidates to replace Alain Vigneault. #RDS
At least one of our rivals gets the wrong guy if this happens.

Please please hire him!!! I can't see him and the sisters getting along very well. Hopefully the canucks re-sign the sisters to a long contract extension before they start playing for Torts.
Does anybody know if LA has given Vancouver the green light to talk to John Stevens? Its been stated in the media that he is #1 on Gillis's list.

Yes, they gave permission yesterday:
@helenenothelen: Vancouver Canucks have permission to talk to Kings assistant coach John Stevens about their head coaching job. He's a quality guy.

Harry Neale is going into the HOF as a broadcaster. I liked Harry's colour work. Folksy and friendly.

Apparently in OKC they are saying Teemu's agent told them if he didnt get a 1 way contract he would go oversees. Apparently they called his bluff and he followed through. Oiler's still retain his rights and Im hoping they do change their minds... He is one of my favorite players from the Barons.

Ah, pulling a Gio. Hopefully the Oilers stick to their guns, let him go play in the KHL if isn't willing to earn his spot with a 2 way deal. Not sure you could say this guys earned the right to demand a 1 way yet.

Well, Bylsma isn't going anywhere:
Dejan Kovacevic @Dejan_Kovacevic2m
Shero: Bylsma WILL return as #Pens coach, two-year extension. PLUS his assistants.

Well if he gets his 1-way then you won't be seeing him play for your barons.

Malkin/Crosby going to be like Jagr/Lemieux? With the Canadian spending his entire career in Pittsburgh while the Euro chases paychecks?

I'd give it to him if he was willing to come to Calgary.
