How many commercials can Hall and Eberle actually be in? I realize they have a lot of free time on their hands, but this is becoming excessive.

The Pens are looking very similar to Canucks of 2 years ago.

Absolutely, but the level at which Boston was pissed at Feaster's proclimation to the Bruins cannot go underestimated....along with others around the league, agents etc. Though the ROR thing was an oversight that maybe other GM's may or may not have made, the Iginla thing is/was a bigger hit to the Flames' management reputation.

Didn't get the impression that it was a deal that big, but it was certainly more then a "Flames schlub for a 6th round pick", too.

Well, the Bruins sure expose the Penguins weakness quite regularly.

Because they have a captain who would rather whine and dive than do something about it. He's a phenomenal captain when he's not being triple-teamed, but when he is, he'll whine all game long. Can't stand Crosby sometimes.

If you've watched the Bruins over the past 2 months, that shouldn't be a surprise. Between post-bombing sympathy and having a player with a father in the NHL head office, they've been getting 90% of the borderline calls. Not that it would have made any difference in this game because they clearly outplayed Pittsburgh, but the penalty call that lead to the 2nd Bruins goal was garbage.

hahahah. forget about the Pens winning a game. they might not win a period.

But thats what happens when you have pisspoor goaltending and a below average defence. You better score 5 or 6 every nite!

I love Marchand!

Looks good on him, if you ask me. Can't wait to see the reception he gets in Boston.

Best trade Chiarelli didn't make...

I highly doubt Pens can win four of the next five to take this series. They look completely asleep. Iginla looking like he's taken too much NyQuil again. Rest of the team asleep as well.

they are going to roast him. Iggy doesn't let that stuff phase him though.

According to Feaster, the decision was completely in Iginla's hands. They spent the whole day trying to convince him to go with the Boston deal but he would not take it, he would have stayed with the Flames. That explains why the Flames went silent.

I'll go with that instead of the media's take on it.

Question, if the Bruins win the series does it impact the pick in terms of where the Flames draft?

Pens don't have the Goaltending to come back from this. Not sure what measures Pittsburgh will take this offseason but they could very well be drastic.

The pittsburgh pick will end up in the 27-28 range, instead of 29-30. Likely 28th if the Kings cannot mount a come back of their own.

If you like the Bruins, that's fine, but hating one of the best players to ever wear the flaming C? I don't get that attitude a little bit.

And as for the reaction that he'll get from the Boston fans, I suspect it will be similar to the racist garbage that they gave Joel Ward. Yay, I guess?

I don't know what "post-bombing sympathy" is, so I can't tell if I am missing some sort of a joke.

Do you actually believe they are getting "90% of the borderline calls" because of who the grinder's dad is?

If true I'm disappointed that Feaster was led on. In his situation, I'd have been very wary of Boston after the "mix-up".

The Flames Season ticket holder event. Someone point blank asked him to explain the whole trade and what happened.
