Much like Tanner Pearson (who was passed over twice before being taken in the first round last year) I think the chances of Andrighetto making it through the draft a third time are very low.

I don't see him as a first rounder like Pearson, but I would not be surprised if he goes as early as the late second round. Yes he's older than other players, but his season (and playoffs) were remarkable.

Some Jackson Houck love, a potential third round target:

Hmmm. Youngest eligible player in the draft & NCAA bound... seems like a guy Feaster could reach for at #30.

Sounds like Dean Youngblood. Put some weight on this guy and he could be good, real good.

With that name, I love that he'll be playing for the Fighting Irish next year.

Just wondering, why do you have Nurse ahead of Monahan in your rankings?

In the interest of transparency, I'm not an actual scout. We have a scouting director and scouting staff that produce the rankings and scouting reports.

Now having said that, our scouts simply view that Nurse's upside is greater than that of Monahan's in the same way that we have Jones over MacKinnon. Having Nurse over Monahan isn't something new for us as he's been there since March.

We've had Nurse as high as fifth and view him as the second-best defenseman in the draft behind Jones. It's not a slight on Monahan by any stretch and 6-7-8 (Lindholm-Nurse-Monahan) are virtually interchangable.

^^ I think I saw a mock with us taking him with the Pittsburgh pick. Not what I would do, but maybe if we had a 2nd rounder. Even then, couple others I would take instead. I am wary of the slow guys.
