I really want Bickell and Horton. Then would pull off a Tanguay for K.Clifford trade. See if Glencross would waive and move him for another pick. Im sure teams like Philly would be interested in a cheap forward. Maybe Glencross,Pit Pick for Phi pick and Couturier.
Draft Lindholm or Monahan then Zardov or Ristolainen and finally another forward.
Roll with:
Horton-Backlund-Baertschi
Hudler-Couturier-Cammy
Bickell-Rienhart-Stempniak
Clifford-Bouma-Horak
Ex-McGratton and Byron
If they arent there dealt for picks.

First off Glencross isn't going anywhere. 2nd of all why would Philly do that? Awful value for them

Don't know how to post links on my Playbook but both Garrioch and Scanlan, Sens beat writers, say that Ottawa will deal prospects for scoring. Sure hope Feaster is all over this as Ottawa stocked up on picks in the past couple of years and has the cap room to take on a big ticket like Cammy. With Cammy's knack for playoffs, should be a good fit.

Is Cowan considered a prospect or do you mean ones that aren't on the tesam yet? I would LOVE Cowan on the Flames.

Article indicated Murray is willing to part with a package of prospects so with Cowen on the roster believe he is not on the table. Names mentioned in the article are Puempel, Ceci and Noesen.

I would be interested in Noesen.
Flames are borderline desperate for prospects at RW.
Trading one of our numerous, mature LWs (Cammalleri) for an RW prospect of pretty decent caliber and size would work for me

Ceci for Tanguay or Cammalleri? If we get Monahan at least he will have his best bud to hang out with.

These are the kinds of deals the Flames need to make. Tangs for Ceci would be great and then Cammy at the deadline for whatever we can get.... This coming season for the Flames should be about getting young players for the future and seeing how some of the kids can play

So with Regher signing for 3 million a year for the next two years, that leaves the Kings with 10.9 million to sign 6-8 players. Clearing cap seems to be something that may happen in L.A via cap dump trade. Who goes? Their center depth can take a hit. Backlund for Richards anyone? Something along those lines?
Edit: I want to keep Backlund, I like him a lot but A guy guy Richards helps the team out in leadership and experience. and thats what it would probably take to get a guy like Richards out on a cap dump deal.

Ottawa would make sense for Tanguay and/or Cammalleri. They need more legitimate experienced top 6 forwards on their team.

I am on board with Tangs to the Sens and Backlund to the kings for Richards..... I even think if we start to take on other teams "cap dumps" we might be able to get a few extra prospects too.

Cammi makes sense Tanguay does not. Ottawa is looking for a scorer.

Willie Mitchell to LTIR would be my guess...

And for the greedy speculation part of my ravings. Does L.A bite on the Pittsburgh pick adding Toffoli if a deal for Richards can be struck with Backlund and another player with a cap friendly hit?

Maybe Backlund for Stoll - can't see them giving up on Richards. Will be lesser lights moved not stars.

I can see Backlund for Stoll (I wouldn't do it though)
I can see Penner taking a pay cut to stay there (seems like he likes it there?)... Scudari, not sure what he'll get but thats the key signing.

I agree if we were talking short term flexibility, but Stoll is on a fresh new Stajan type contract with two years remaining after this season whereas Richards contract goes until 3027 (slight exageration but hey, its all fun and games). Long term flex may factor into who they move. I guess that's what I was getting at.

They probably won't need it if/when Willie Mitchell goes on LTIR (or retires)

I was thinking about that when I made my first post. But you gotta figure Voynov will be commanding 4 million a year on a re-signing. Why? He's darn good and young.
