He was speaking to a Quebec audience via a member of the Quebec media. Perhaps his point would have been better made if he had said "It's to Quebec's advantage," but it's not out-of-line for him to use the word "our" in that context.

I think someone's lived in Alberta a bit too long. This quote is a pretty much a non-story in the rest of the country. Of course the rest of us also didn't try our hardest to take it out of context and spin it to look derogatory, so there's that.

The pacifist seperatist wants things for "us"..."us" being Quebecers only, I think thats absurd as a canadian.
