I listed to it again, sounds even worse the 2nd time. There was nothing in that rant that was even remotely meant as a joke. It was an over the top unprofessional angry tirade, and could even be considered a threat.
Just awful, an apology would be in order.

i really like how nucks fans feel like they just had their cup stolen by the refs.
you got swept by the 11th best team in the playoffs, so whether it was now or later, or the nucks won a game, or got a call or got a bounce, or ran a ref out of town, or cried on an excersize bike after the game, or bit a guys finger, or whined about diving,
NOTHING WAS GOING TO HAPPEN FOR THE CANUCKS THIS YEAR

Ya, the way he made it sound was pretty ridiculous. "I went down and pounded at the refs door, shouting for an explanation, and he wouldn't do it"
Then he went on to say that the league had no integrity for refusing him.
Then he got kind of sad when he heard that Arash Midani got a quote from the series supervisor.
Then he got really upset again saying that it was cowardly and, wait for it, "yellow" that they wouldn't give an explanation to a pool reporter like him.
Someone needs to get his prescription filled
