I just don't see it the way you guys are and I fully admit my view may be skewed because I know Matt, I work with him 5 days a week. I'll bring it up with him tomorrow, but I've done some quick searches on social media and in our inbox and I don't see anything outside of here calling it a threat.
Stupid thing to say, but in my mind, only stupid because it wasn't funny, not a threat in my mind. Again, albeit a skewed one given the situation.

Was the call actually that bad? We've all seen plenty of calls over the years, and that would be nowhere near the top of the list.

I didn't find it so much threatening but utterly pathetic how he tried to insinuate that, somehow, where Sutherland lives has something to do with how he should make his calls. What an absolutely absurd thing to rant about.

That's the funny thing. It was questionable, but it wasn't exactly Brett Hull's skate in the crease.
All we can hope for now is that "The Call" continues to be the real villain here.

That I 100 percent agree with. It was a soft one, but nowhere near as bad as how the guys are making it out to be.
