Shame it had to end on a PP in OT.

Despite the loss, was an entertaining game to watch. I'm looking forward to the game on Tuesday for sure, hopefully they can get a win before going back to Pittsburgh.

Pens are lucky to win this game, they look like hot garbage. Pretty much a continuation of last years playoffs when you think about it, can't hold a lead and Fleury can't be bothered to stop the puck.

Yeah he was but not because he's been a minus player the last two games. Crosby has also been a minus player the last two games.
I think he's just lost with Malkin.

I wish it didn't have to end like that for the Islanders. Okposo's game today was unbelievable. The whole New York team plays with so much heart.

Crosby, Dupuis and several other guys were minus players for the last 2 games too. Iginla didn't look great in game 2, but benching him and rolling 2 lines for the first 5 minutes of OT was not a great coaching decision. The Pens were lucky that the Crosby, Malkin, Kunitz line didn't get scored on shortly before the power play.

Because the Pens clearly excel on their PP and I'd rather see a 5 on 5 OT.

I sat down to watch the 'Hawks/Wild, and so only caught the OT of the Pen/Isles...I was NOT impressed by the OT officiating...Kunitz got away with a spear to a Isles gonads off the puck early...and on the stretch pass that would have sprung Grabner, why did it not get whistled down when the Puck was deflected from one Pen to the other with a high stick?
Strait had his hands on Crosby, but, I am not convinced that that was a hold...no draping...no jersey grab...IMO, soft call.

Good to see Pens win. They were the much better team and best to get garbage like the Isles out of play-offs to watch real teams play.

Why are you so absolute in every assessment you make based on if you like the team or not?

I thought Malkin was awful. People can say Iginla didn't play well, but Malkin made bonehead plays every time he touched the puck.
