So are we just pretending the terrible puppet/musical episode didn't happen?
I wish I could. I've been a huge fan of Community since day one but this season has been tough to watch and last week's episode was my breaking point. I made it about 10 minutes in and had to shut it off. Its a shame the show changed so much but what can you do. Enjoy the reruns I guess.

I'm pretending this season didn't happen. I stopped watching after the Thanksgiving episode I believe.
The show is dead. Please take this corpse off the air. How this could happen to Community, which at one point was probably one of the best comedies of all time...
The thing that really surprised me was reading some of the reviews from critics who have been less-than-kind to this season's episodes who were praising last week's episode, which I thought was one of the weakest of the year.

I was just surprised there wasn't a single comment in this thread, I guess it's a statement that most of us have given up on this season. It was the first community episode I've ever fast forwarded through.

I liked it. A fair bit. Sue me.

I liked this episode. I've liked most of this season. That said, it has not been close to the standard of seasons 2 and 3. There have been plenty of enjoyable episodes, but not one that I thought was brilliant.
I actually don't mind the show. It isn't consistently funny (though, only 1 season has been able to deliver in such a manner), but the stories are more interesting on the characterization side of things (sans Annie. I'm not sure what the plan was with her, but they have basically removed the "driven" part of her personality from...anything). And one of the two standout points in Community is good enough for me.
Also, I haven't had a chance to watch the puppet show. Is it worth skipping?
(To add on, I really liked the Christmas episode, a couple scenes notwithstanding)

I enjoyed the puppet show. Thought they had a good premise for why they were puppets. Again, not a brilliant episode, but was worthwhile and had some pretty funny moments.
(I loved the Christmas stop motion animated episode)
