St Louis wins, so the Flames are officially going to have 3 first round picks this year. Also, Jay Bouwmeester is going to play in the playoffs (sorry, Guy Charron).

Say what you want about the blue jackets and the islanders, but they proved they are much better managed than the oilers
The lemonade stand on your local street corner is better managed than the Oilers. They were able to increase their efficiency two fold by squeezing their lemons at home instead of doing it while the customer was waiting. I'd like to see Lowe and Company solve that sort of problem.

They only show that solution to Tier 1 fans.

I hope the Eastern Conference standings don't move around too much. Maybe swap the Rangers and Senators. I think there would be some damn good match ups if they stay about the same. I am also hoping to see the Blue Jackets make it in the west. Although we are losing Detroit in the Conference as they are become weaker, it seems we have the benefit of losing the Blue Jackets as they are perhaps becoming a stronger team. We will have to see if they can continue upwards with a more competent management staff.

All the teams we are ''chasing'' gained a couple points. Nashville beats us. The Flames still put forth a great team effort and go down swinging. Isles clinch a playoff spot. Jaybo ensures his entrance to the post season. Flames get that sweet STL 1st round pick in this year's draft.
Nothing good ever happens to us. Thank you baby jesus for blessing us tonight!

Probably in the minority here, but I'm happy for JayBo. He was part of some pretty terrible Medicine Hat Tigers teams during his junior hockey career and things didn't improve much for him with the Panthers. He took a lot of flak for the Flames missing out on the post-season, but in my opinion there was plenty of blame to pass around.
That said, get swept in the first round to enhance that Flames 1st round pick from St. Louis.

I am happy for the New York Islanders. I personally wouldn't want to face them in the first round. There is a whole lot of talent on that team and John Tavares is proving to be one of the top goal scorers in the game. I'll be rooting for the Islanders along with Iggy and the Pens in the playoffs this year.
Stupid oilers. You won the lottery but the Jackets are still playing meaningful hockey and you are all but out. Hahahah.

The NY Islanders in the playoffs? Really? The Islanders? OMG. They get the single point in 4-3 SO loss to the Hurricanes. The Capitals win the div and OV is kicking it into high gear as they win 5-3 over the Jets. The Blues clinch as they win 3-1. The Sharkies did the same in a 3-2 reg win over the Stars. The Rangers blew a chance as they lose 3-2 in reg time to the Panthers. The Habs and Bruins continue to suck as neither team wants to win the NE div. The Habs lose 3-2 in reg time to the Devils and the Bruins lose to the Flyers 5-2. The Wild help their chances in a 2-1 reg win over the Kings and the Penguins lose 4-2 to the Sabres which makes the Pens almost out of the running for the President's trophy.
