Say what you want about the blue jackets and the islanders, but they proved they are much better managed than the oilers

The Flames are my team through and through, but I'm real happy for the Islanders.

Perfect OOT. Has that ever happened before?

I like to think that Feaster sacrificed the Kipper Kid to the hockey gods before tonight's OOT games.

Jersey, Flyers and Sabres wins give us some breathing room, making it more likely we stay at 7th overall.

Ya at worst 7th overall which should still give us a shot at Monahan, Lindholm at the worst, which is good.
But now we will only be within 1 point to fall 3 spots (Preds, Coil, Canes). Still can get a top 4 pick.
Must lose next two..

Just when I thought the Flames were going to end up picking 8th or 9th. Hockey Gods threw us a bone tonight.
Is it too much to ask for Colorado to come back and beat St. Lou as well? yes.

I wouldn't say that's the worst, that's actually pretty ideal
My prediction for the first 6 is:
Jones
MacKinnon
Drouin
Barkov
Lindholm
Monahan
I hope you're right and we have the choice of both of them at 7.

I just meant that at worst thats where we would be picking. I think you can throw in Nurse and Nicschkunin (?) in the top 7. Someone will reach for a dman im sure. I just hope we finish 4th last, improve our lottery chances and then win it haha.

I think there's a pretty decent chance they both go before our pick, so we might luck out.

Pretty happy with how our season went even though we didn't make the playoffs. Atlanta was a train wreck and we've added some good pieces. Can't wait to play in the West next year, and hopefully see another game at the dome.
On a side note I think the Flames will do fine with anyone in the top 10. Quite excited to see the kids play next year.
