Oh yeah, I actually can think of one AWESOME thing that Redford's done (or more accurately, that her government's done) - "she" eliminated the property tax "mitigation formula".
Here's an article that talks about it, with a very negative perspective, but the flip side of having places like Chestermere's taxes go up is that Calgary and Edmonton get tax space vacated... and I've been told that that amount of money the province has vacated to the city is enough for Calgary to build the full BRT network in the RouteAhead plan over 10 years.

There have been several already. They've just been ignored by the WRP supporters in this thread.
Besides, at election time, we vote for the parties on the ballot, not for hypothetical perfect parties that we wish we had. Therefore it is perfectly reasonable to acknowledge that the PCs are flawed, but to believe, and point out, that they are less flawed than the alternatives.

Thats just too rich.
So we cant talk about the hypothetical perfect parties here, but no problem talking about the hypothetical awful parties in defense of the actual terrible one in place?
I have that right now? Just want to follow the liberal logic is all.
pathetic.

The WRP isn't a hypothetical terrible party. It actually exists, no?

I'm really not sure how his logic can be politicized, but, there you go I guess.

The sad thing here is this entire discussion to begin with. The OP asked a disingenuous rhetorical question. No one is going to give an answer that Wildrose supporters will agree with, and its basically pointless.
I happen to think that the funding for the Cancer centers announced earlier this year (I think?) is fantastic and is definitely good for Alberta. I have no doubt that someone here will take umbrage with that, for some reason though.

I really don't understand? Using a hypothetical terrible party to justify my support for the PCs would look like this: "Sure, the PCs have made mistakes, but at least they're not putting jews in internment camps and invading Poland." That's quite different than comparing them to thr WRP and saying that I still prefer the PCs, flawed though they may be.

So telling as to the answer to the OP and oh so easy to predict.

t99 is on a role today. Keep up the good work.
I did pages back. I said the coming around on carbon taxation was good and that most of the problems stem from factors that are utterly out of her control.
I'm not saying she's perfect or that she's been truly inspiring but managing a province as unwieldy as Alberta's what with a populist horde of people like yourself, with bigger structural problems in the oil and gas market, along with a reluctance of Albertans to want to pay for the services they demand I would say that she's handling as good as possible.
I certainly don't see any of these issues being handled any better by the Wild Rose.
Shocking eh?

That I can agree with, but why it is sad is that I could have written the predictable responses from Slava, Makarov, SebC and Senator Clay myself. Nothing new here.

Is that a criticism? I can predict the likely answers to the question "what colour is the sky?" I'm not sure that it somehow discredits those answers though.

That's how all Randians look when they are forced to deal with non-bootstrappy types.

Can we get back on topic, and start talking about the good things Redford has done for Alberta? Like the example that I posted at the top of this page?
Stop deflecting, Wildrosers!

Its also interesting to note that all other parties (as well as many posters here) predicted that WRP's election platform was also a "disaster". The difference between the WRP and the PCs is that one was elected, is making real decisions, and is therefore being scrutinized, whereas the other was not, is doing nothing, and is therefore not being scrutinized.
