There are an endless number of things that may happen in this world on Sunday, but Sergio Garcia winning the Masters is not one of them...

14 YO Guan finishes the day at +1 and 3 shots better than any other amateur...has a real chance to make the weekend.

Unreal.

Even cooler though is that Freddy is in the hunt.

Made a pool at work and for some reason I thought Dustin Johnson wasn't playing, so I left him out. Turns out I was reading last years article.

Yup. This seems to happen a lot at the Masters. Surprise first round scores.

Same with the British Open. After Day 1, the leader is typically Hakki Uusipaavaliputter of Finland at -4. And then the guy finishes +19 on the weekend.

Sergio Garcia, Dustin Johnson and Jason Day wearing the same crappy shirts is very annoying.

I think if Sergio could break through and prove to himself that he can win a Major it would be good for golf. He's got game. His issues are the hardest six inches in golf.

And yes, I could have worded that better.

Sergio's attitude is pretty sad. He has a great round and didn't seem all that happy. Almost like he expects to fall apart. Couples looks like he could play this one tourney till he is 80. Amazing how good he can play at the Masters. I thought Weir looked shaky and then at the same time came up with some pretty good putts. Not sure if he is even healthy enough to last the four rounds and mentally I doubt it's there yet.

But the whole cream of the crop it seemed were under par. Shaping up as a real exciting tourney.

How things change- the majority of the players on the field so far are over par for the day. First hole seems to be killing them.

I received a spam email from adidas (through Taylormade) for those shirts.

So I thought Sergio looked like he was ready to collapse and so far in the 2nd round he is very quickly moving down the ladder.

Saved par at 15...but not a good day thus far.

Really good day for the oldtimers...Freddy even on the day thru 14, Langer 2 under and will see the weekend...sandy lyle is another one that will play the weekend.

Guan pars 18 to stay on the cut line...3 over for the day but should play again tomorrow and sunday..

There is some really bad golf going on today. Phil with some sad looking shots, Johnson just plunked one in the water on an easy shot. Cost him two shots.

His swing movement is just as flexible as the fourteen years olds. How the hell is that anatomically possible?
