Yes it's for real. The way you wrote your post it had the feel of confidence, like for instance you knew someone in the family that said LeBlanc was looking to sign with Calgary after the frozen four was done. So I asked if you knew something the public didn't or if it was pure speculation. Don't know why my post seems odd to you at all???

I agree, we have a chance at signing him. Maybe even a better shot than most clubs. But your first post suggested we had him locked up. Could have been worded better.
But i do apologize my original post, was a bit bold, i thought that it was actually not possible for a ncaa free agent to sign with an nhl team during the ncaa season and therefore it would be obvious that my post was specualtive... this obviously isn't the case so i have led to some confusion. apologies. nervousness. sweaty palms.

Its kind of funny actually. Obviously as Flames fans we all want desperately to find new hope and direction for our club. Fans are a little tense right now...

For those confused, I'm pretty sure BigDog is telling you he's speculating. He's not telling you to not speculate. "Can we not speculate" was in response to people interpreting it as a done deal.
He's basically predicting (speculating) Leblanc will sign with the Flames after his NCAA season is over. As he posted, a NCAA player can't sign with the NHL mid-season.
