Games to remember in a year or two when the Flames are a different team: the team with 3 more wins than the Flames, all since the Flames lost their franchise player, running out the 1st PP line with a few minutes to go in a 5 goal game, and a hot dog peice of trash celebrating like the 8th goal meant something....for only their 2nd win in the last 12 here.

meh, whatever. #### the Oilers, they're like a youtube clip fantasy team. They gotta max the celebrations because they'll likely never win anything important as that group.

At the end of the day, I hate the Oilers but the effort we put in this game, we deserve everything we got. Strange as it is, we have a similar record the last 5 games as we did the first 5 games of the season, yet this team looks completely different from early season to now. I don't mean because we lost a few guys but we weren't winning in the first 5 games but we sure looked a lot more dangerous of a team. Now we look like pathetic losers.

Embarrassing, terrible game tonight but the Flames pushed the Oilers around physically tonight. That should tell you everything you need to know about the issue with how that team is built.

Man how bad was Babchuck..That first goal he got turned on was something else I didn't think Hartley would let him back on the ice.
Makes sense not playing in 2013 though.

Secondly, is Hartley coaching this team to lose? He's basically rolling 4 lines the whole game. I mean, the 4th line didn't play bad but the last two games I've noticed Hartley isn't even trying to line match the Oilers. He's just rolling it.
|
I've noticed that too.
Hartley, when he wants to win, the 4th line basically never takes shifts on the ice in the 3rd period.
I don't think he's trying to lose intentionally, but it seems really odd compared to the Hartley that I recognize as coach of the Flames.

God...there's still 13 games left in this season? It already feels like it's been longer than 82.

Hall was good, I'm liking him more all the time. Don't care if he's an oiler.

I am in now way cheering for the flames to lose, but if you're going to be a bottom dweller might as well be 30th in order to get the first overall pick. Just 10 more games to go till this torture is over.

We won, we won, weeee wooooon...!!! ...(the draft lottery)
Sigh. If that was them trying we're getting that number one pick. I can feel it.

LOL, like we'll get the #1 pick. Somehow, against ridiculously impossible odds, we will finish last, and still pick 14th.

Impossible. If we finish last and lose the lottery then we would only move down one spot. Drouion/Mackinnon is good for me.

Just curious, where do you "keep hearing" this ....?
I have yet to read any boasting here by Oiler fans ...
