Work Sarich into a Kipper deal perhaps? Would improve the chances of netting a higher pick/better prospect

Why Gio ? If it is Gio going then you would need something better than a low prospect in there... especially if you are taking on a boat anchor (Komisarek) in the process.

If you cant get a 1st + prospect for just Gio, you keep him. Worth more to the team here than dealt for peanuts.

Never mind the "sub standard" play, I want to know what he said about his total lack of professionalism in that game last night. That 3rd goal wasn't about poor defensive play, or a lack of focus, or whatever other BS excuse he wants to come up with. It was a big fata you to the franchise, and by extension, the fans. The only way that goal could have been more insulting would have been to skate to the bench as Jones was coming down the rink. It really looked like he deliberately let that goal in; all that was missing was the Patty Roy skate to the bench before he got pulled.

I'm still so pissed about that game. After the Columbus game, I felt bad for him; it sounds like he's got bigger problems at home, Iggy just left town, his career is ending right before his eyes. But last night, his effort on that 3rd goal was inexcusable. You're still getting paid over $75,000 per game. If you can't be a professional, then stay at home.

I'm sure my anger will subside, but right now I just want him to be gone. I don't care if Feaster gets anything for him at all. Just leave, and never come back.

Of course, reason will resurface in time, and I'll remember everything he gave this club, but for now, the giant FU from last night is all I can see...

Allen has been serviceable for sure, but his numbers are far from impressive. He has benefited from better goal support.

Halak is a much better goalie and the Blues would be crazy to pin their playoff hopes on Jake Allen IMO.

What the hell are you talking about? Sure, it was a weak goal, but I'd hardly classify it anywhere near as bad as you're describing it.

What's the point of trading Kipper if it's for anything less than 2nd rounder or more?
Even then, he's worth way more to the Flames.
He's still our best player.
Maybe he didn't play his best this year, but I doubt that it's due to his age.
