I got a lot of these so going to spoiler the whole thing, there are no comic book spoilers of any kind in here, just comics poking fun at the various plot holes:

Spoiler!

Some have swears:

Thought it was a pretty lame way to end an otherwise pretty good season compared especially to the boring farm season. I laughed at Andrea in a life and death situation deciding to converse with Milton rather than get those pliers in her hands as fast as possible. I get that she wasn't the sharpest pencil but really? That was a poor choice by the writers.

What I found bad from a writing/ directing perspective was that she was able to take off her boots so she could use her toes; but waited until she had kicked around the pliers for a while with her boots on. Had she grabbed them with her toes right away; she would have made it in time.

I like how everyone complains about how long it took her to grab the pliers but no one questions how she cut through a pair of handcuffs with said crappy pliers and one hand, bound by the handcuffs.

At least with the plyers there is the possibility of doing something to the chair. Like when Merle was trapped on the roof; people said he could have used the hacksaw on the pipe he was cuffed to.

Hey now, we're discussing how badly Andrea did in her life and death situation, not the subpar quality of handcuffs the Guv decided to buy.

Probably a standard sex shop novelty pair.

If anything, the crappy quality of cuffs shoulda made it MORE likely for her to escape. Yet still, she found a way to screw it up.

What a garbage end to such a strong season. Full of so much senseless, forced drama and stupidity. I have zero expectations for next season.

"Hey, we know we're new in town, but the governor just killed all your people. It definitely wasn't the people from the prison, even though they've only tormented and murdered your people over the last few months. They're right here, ask them yourselves. Now we're all going to to go to the prison together, where they definitely aren't going to slaughter you. One more time, your only source of hope and security was a fraud, and the most terrifying people you've ever met are now looking out for us. No objections? All right, let's roll."

I thought of that while she broke the first one. Was it the chain she broke or the cuff? I have never been handcuffed but I imagine the chain would be difficult to break with pliers especially with a bound hand and the cuff likely impossible.

Safe to say if this happened in real life as soon as Milton mentions the pliers she would have busted her ass trying to get them totally ignoring Milton. Once she got her hands on them she would have feebly attempted to free a hand and fail over and over until Milton turned, took his time to walk over and ate her in the chair. Win-win as the way it would logically play out verses the show's version both end up with the same result and that's Andrea's ass off the show.

It's a Zombie apocalypse people. That means a lot of these pauses and poor choices apply! It's the ones that don't make those poor choices that survive!

I just started watching this show (only on episode 4 of season 2), and I can't get past of these issue. I keep thinking, why don't they just find a boat and sail to an island? Surely zombies can't swim...

Without any big spoilers, does the show attempt to explain this at some point?

Zombies, unlike people, don't need air to survive. I don't think their ability to swim has any bearing on anything.

A simple fence keeps them out, why isolate yourself from sources of salvaged food/materials by going to an island? The biggest threats that the group has faced through the first 3 seasons are human, not zombie.

And that's where I really have a problem, given how randy Andrea can be, I would have thought she'd have no problem getting her leg up, pretty sure they've been pinned behind her ears a few times. She shoulda had those pliers in one shot. The writers just keep disapointing with these oversights.

The Governor just going all Stalin and shooting his own people for retreating made the entire season. Andrea dying was just a bonus.

Finally got a chance to watch the season finale being gone for the long weekend.
I guess i expected more of a battle or action between the the 2 forces Governor's army vs Rick's little group.

For the most part for a final episode it was a let down compare that to the end of season 1 or 2.

I was glad that the Governor was finally exposed as a power hungry lunatic to his town of followers.
I liked how Tyreese and his wife have rejoined Rick i liked their characters.
Andrea being killed off was inevitable. Her story had run its course i felt and the writers made her character more redeemable the last few episodes vs the bag she turned into.
I am not as critical about Karl about shooting that kid surrendering. Was it in cold blood for sure but...
Karl is a kid and he thought he was doing the right thing. His young attitude is your either with us or your a threat and if your a threat i will kill you if i get the chance.
Give a 12 year old kid a gun with the green light of shoot to kill and this is bound to happen.

Hopefully in season 4 Rick hunts down the Governor and ends him or he ends up in Morgan's funhouse?

I finally watched the Finale last night... Thought the battle was a little weak, but I enjoyed the finale still. More importantly, how useless is Andrea??? I read this message board before I watched the finale so I knew Andrea is killed off by zombie Milton, but I figured it was because she was handcuffed to the chair. When I watched I was surprised to see she actually got out of the handcuffs before Milton got to her, so useless (glad she's gone). She obviously needed other people around to protect her. Carl seems like he's going to take an evener darker turn next season.

Can't wait for seaon 4 to begin now!!!

Well that depends largely on what they are shooting at. If it's zombies, apparently Glenn has no issues at all rattling off head shot after head shot while hanging out the window of a moving car.

However, if people are involved and shooting from a protected, crouched position with an fully automatic weapon, he can't hit people that are 20 ft away from him at all.

The one thing that was VERY cool about the attack on the prison was the complete and total can of whoopa$$ they opened up on the zombies wandering around the courtyard.

*spoilers*

I just watched the season finale and overall i was really underwhelmed although i thought the story arch that developed with Carl that episode was pretty cool and the interaction between him and Rick should continue to be interesting.

I too would have shot that kid with the shotgun in the face, it was the right thing to do so someone needs to tell Hershel to look for his balls.......im just saying

I too just watched the season finale and thought it was OK, for a zombie show in it's 3rd season.

I think Carl did the right thing and look forward to what antics he'll get into next season. He's gone from always going places he shouldn't, that rascal, to shooting people point blank, when it maybe wasn't warranted.

I don't think Andrea bugged me as much as most other people, but I would've like to have seen something involving her cutting off her hand to escape Milton. Also don't understand why they never showed an Andrea and Michonne getting it on angle.

When the gov. rounded up the troops i had to laugh. Where did he get what looked like 40 fighter types from after already losing a bunch of fighters. I know it turned out that there were just some regular folks there, but that first scene when he was giving the pep talk made me laugh.

and mark my words, the gov will be back. I think his 2 lieutenants will play a part in the future too.
