That phone-bomb on the Talking Dead was awesome - loved how rattled some of the guests were while Hardwick was all amped up over it. LOL
As for the finale, while it didn't go out with a bang like last season, I think it did set us up for some interesting character arcs next season like:
Carl vs. Rick - clearly Carl feels his dad is just the biggest screw-up who makes decisions that get people killed and he's the one willing to step up and make the hard/right choices (in his mind)...him dropping the star on the ground at the end of the show was big
I think the twist at the end of the show where they bring the Woodbury people back to the prison was a genius twist on a season where their motto was "Fight the Dead, fear the Living." Rick & the rest of the group (except Carl) seem to get that going on as they had with their ever-diminishing numbers would lead to a fast and probably painful death. They have to learn to open themselves to others and grow the group to bring society back to what it had been before, or as close as they could get it.
Say what you will about Andrea, it was a great moment when Andrea was found and she was saying that people couldn't do it alone anymore and Darryl replied "You never could." They were both so good in that scene I sniffed once or twice.
I actually think it was smart to go back to the Prison - like it was mentioned above, Woodbury was strong enuf to keep walkers out but anyone with a minimum level of brains could infiltrate that town. It might be worth going back to continue to harvest the supplies etc from the town but I could see them using the numbers they have now to make the prison homier. And with the Governor & his flunkies having cleared the yard for the most part, they could repair the fences and look at planting crops to add to their stores.
To take that a bit further, I wasn't honestly left with the impression that he was trying to close the gap between himself and Carl. How many times have we seen a show where the guys all "alright...im putting it down....easy does it...." all the while getting closer and closer and BAM! grab the guy....Rick did the same thing to Shane. I would have done the same thing. Guy is ordered to drop his rifle but instead he tries to close the gap, how was Carl to know he wasn't going to try to grab him once close enough?
And at the end of the day, the guy was there to try to kill the prison group. 100% the right call IMO.
Rick also blew away those two guys in the bar who wanted to know where the farm was.
I actually enjoy the hour long talk show afterwards.. They have small segments where they show behind the scenes on how they create the effects, pretty interesting.
I was going to ask the same thing. I don't remember seeing her on the TV show...
It's a talk show, a post Walking Dead wrap up. They have all sorts of guests on to talk about the show. Patton Oswalt, Kevin Smith, Jon Heder, Scott Ian, Will Wheaton, CM Punk, Damon Lindelof, etc.
Usually they'll have a show actor on, but also throw in a comedian, actor, writer etc etc as well.
Anyone catch the call-in guy from Chattanooga on the Talking Dead? Said his name was Bob, breathed heavily a couple times and starting reading this messed up poem for a while about the dead rising before either hanging up or getting cut off? That was pretty awesome lol.
I googled it afterwards. The caller was reading a passage from the bible.
I don't know why I googled it and definitely doesn't explain how creepy it sounded.
Zechariah 14:12
And the LORD will send a plague on all the nations that fought against Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eyes will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot in their mouths.

Is that actually a Bible quote? Geezuz that's defeatist and negative.
