Boston would be stupid to give up both of those players for Jagr.

Probably will get roasted for saying this but I would have been perfectly happy trading that Pittsburgh pick to Boston for Khokhlachev. 19 years old and more NHL ready probably than the player we picked that late in the round.

Should rental Iggy be worth more than rental Jagr?
I think they should be about the same. Both don't play too much defesne and Jagr is at 14G and 26 points. If you were resigning them Iggy is worth a little extra due to age but based on performance they are roughly equal with the edge this season going to Jagr. I would expect very similar to the return to the proposed boston deal.

Depending on the prospects, Jagr might return better than Iggy!

its called reality, many people on here agree with me read some posts
not gonna jump on Feaster for the sake of it
if you think a 2nd round is better than a 1st you obviously are being biased. and its true he wasn't blocking any trades, its also true he has better numbers than Iggy

Also worth noting for the take a lower pick and a better prospect crowd - if a late 1st is like a 2nd round pick, than wouldn't a late 2nd round pick be like a 3rd round pick?

Ha there is a slap to the face of the PEN's, good move for the Bruins the way Jagr is still playing, big body Jagr will be a nice fit for the playoffs.

I guess it depends on what floats your boat. Conditional 1st and two good prospects would be good, but depends on who these unnamed prospects turn out to be.

29th pick = 640 pts.
55th pick = 350 pts.
Pens first is twice as good as the bruins pick.

when the Boston deal was rumored everyone hated the prospects...I also thought Koko would have been a good pickup and still do. Not sure why people seemed to be against him, great prospect
