Either way, I still think he has a lot left in the tank, and playing with a true elite centre for the first time in his pro career will be a big boost. I'm sure we'll still see a lot of his A game.
nevermind.

I'm still depressed about us trading Iginla, but I feel infinitely better about him going to the Pens than the Bruins. I have tickets to see them play in 2 weeks in Florida, so it will be great to see him again. Now I just need to decide whether I should wear my Flames Iginla jersey or if I should try to get a Pens one before then.

Is the smart money on Iggy wearing #12 for the Pens as well?

Looking to get a Pens jersey asap.

count me out on this one. I want Iggy to win a cup, but I will never cheer for the Penguins. I just can't.

I'll jump on. Don't mind having an eastern team to cheer for. Not gonna order a jersey or anything. I'm like the guy being towed on a couch behind the bandwagon........

I'm happy I picked up a couple tickets to see the Penguins! I might even wear my Flames Iginla jersey to the game.

Screw it.

My heart wins this one hands down.

I'll be watching every Pens game I possibly can from here on out, and cheering that they, and Iggy win it all.

I want to see Crosby hand Iggy the Cup.

All over that bandwagon, looking forward to next wednesday to see the Pens in MSG. Going to be weird seeing Iginla in another jersey.

As a young kid I was a Pens fan.

I think it was the Anti-Oilers, once an Oiler always an Oiler, hate for Gretzsky, that made me want Lemieux to be the best player in the world so badly. (I was boooing last night, screw you Gretzsky. I hate the Oilers and everyone who has ever done anything good for them).

I would draw the old Penguins logo on the front of my note books.

Since it had to come to this, I am vary happy for Jarome. This is way better than Boston.

I'm fully on the Pens bandwagon. It'll be pretty nice having an actual team to cheer for in the playoffs this year. I'll be watching as many Pens games as I can now.

For those interested, Centre Ice will not be prorated by Shaw but it is still very affordable even though you are only getting 17 games or so.

So, will Iginla get 30 goals now playing with Crosby. I sure hope so, that would be an epic run to finish the season for him.

I grew up in the 90's watching power rangers and ninja turtles. When the Flames were the young guns we used to go and watch the game at the Dome never expecting too much, just a good time. I was a hockey fan at a young age and I always had this small Penguins jersey that I would wear. When we traded for Iggy I assumed we had made a big mistake but his 3rd season quickly turned him into a reason to watch the flames.
I followed hockey a hell of a lot more than I used to and I had someone to look up to. After every game I would go outside and shoot at the net pretending I was playing with Jarome. I know there are no such things as super heroes, but for me this guy was my hero.
Today, was the darkest day I have ever had as a flames fan. Even though Iggy was an extreme class act and kept his emotions in check, I couldn't help but fight back tears. Seeing Conroy's and Cammy's faces for that brief second did me in and I turned into a giant baby.
I am extremely happy that he has the best chance to win a cup and I hope he does. I will be watching every single Penguins game for the rest of season cheering on Iggy. I will be watching the flames as well but I won't be going out of my way like I used to. I hope one day Iggy can return to the flames so we can give him a proper send off.

Flames... Lower your ticket prices and begin the process of a rebuild because without my Hero I don't see why we should be paying these ridiculously inflated prices to watch what could be the Young Guns 2.0. Families can barely afford to take their kids to games as it is right now. You can see with that with the poor play and high prices that the dome has tons of empty seats. It's time to begin a new era, let the families and kids come back and have a chance to find their Hero they are going to grow up with.

can we fill this bandwagon with plague-ridden corpses, light it on fire and send it crashing through the Pittsburgh city gates?

then count me in!

I am probably going to order an Iggy Pens jersey this weekend. The guy has won everything but the cup and he deserves it. Go Iggy and go Pens!

If the Pens lose in the first or second round their pick will still be #25 or MAYBE #24

The difference between drafting at 25 and drafting at 30 is almost negligible. So shame on anybody cheering against the Pens. Iggy getting a cup >>>> 5 draft spots

Go Pens Go
