I'm in.
And serious. I'm planning on going down to the Dome tomorrow. I have no idea if I'll get close to the presser, but I want a chance to see Iginla one more time.
Anyone else plan on going? CP meet up? Send off to Iginla.

Fleury better not screw this up. Hope the Pens aren't afraid to go to Vokoun if Fleury looks as bad as he did last playoffs.

We have their first rounder.
My head says, I hope they lose in round 1.
My heart says, I hope they win it all.

Definitely. Pittsburgh is my second favourite team so this makes it pretty easy. Go Iginla. I would love to see him lift a cup.

Pretty stoked that he is going to Pittsburgh and not Boston. Hope he can win a cup, then come back and retire a Flame.
My six year old will be pretty excited as well - he was pretty sad that Iginla was being traded, but he admitted it would be okay if he went to the Penguins (it amuses me how many kids like the Penguins - is it the Logo?)

I too want to see him hoist the cup and with Pitts moves over the last week, it's a great choice for him if we sincerely want to see him win the cup. Re-uniting with Crosby on a really superb team.
They probably won't be able to re-sign him and it's gonna clear some space for us next year. But man, it does tug on the heart strings.
I will be sincerely happy for him if he wins the cup!

Was looking forward to not faking it and proudly cheering for him in Black and Gold in Boston but now, meh. Do what you have to do Iggy.
I hope he sky rockets in goals and keeps passing legends.
PIT is built to win the cup so all the best Iggy!

Never a fan of the Pens, even with Joey Mullen on it, so this will be tough. Even moreso with Crosby, who I am not a huge fan of either. Plus, not a huge playoff watcher anyways, and with it stretching into late June, even tougher.
But, Iginla will carry that team, or at very least provide the pivotal moments as he did some many times in the Flaming C, and, for Team Canada when he was considered too young in 2002 and too old in 2010 by some.
Pittsburgh still has Matt Cooke, correct?

Couldn't be happier about where he landed.
Was hoping it would be the Pens, Bruins or Kings... in that order.
Iggy wasted his entire career with nothing remotely close to a No. 1 Centre.... now he's going to play with the best centre in the game and arguably the best player in the world.
He deserves it.
He and Crosby have shown several flashes of brilliance on Team Canada and hope they can find that again on the Pens.
Go Iggy, and Go Pens!

Isn't this gonna be crazy to see how he performs? It's going to answer a lot of questions as to whether he is the best player in the world. Being on the world class team will give him the opportunity to silence the critics.
I think he is going to score some amazing goals and help the drive deep and hard to win a cup. However, the pressure will be on him to deliver. Which I am cheering and hoping he does.

Iggy?
I love the guy but at 35 I don't think anyone would call him the best player in the world any more.
Maybe a few years ago he was in the discussion... but not now.
Either way, I still think he has a lot left in the tank, and playing with a true elite centre for the first time in his pro career will be a big boost. I'm sure we'll still see a lot of his A game.
