These people were perfect citizens before getting that puppy. If they didn't get a dog one fateful September morn' they wouldn't have done anything else that would have been a bother. Being bad neighbors can soley be traced to owning a dog. As soon as they took that beastly hell-hound home from the pound it was lights out, Satan had entered their soul.
I mean, it's not like they wouldn't have just been crappy neighbors without the dog either. geez louise.

Dude, a bad dog owner is the worst kind of neighbour. Barking, crapping, pissing, etc. It's not like my comment was from out in left field - the OP was describing how everything bad about his neighbours was directly due to the fact they were bad dog owners. JFC
Edit: Probably should have quoted AFireInside and not you, but the point remains.

I know I certainly enjoy having dog piss all over my space and being kept up all night by someone else's dog. What could be better than that.

FYP.
You could also sub in bad musicians, partiers, young people, couples (that constantly fight), hippies, drug users, alcoholics, seniors etc.
Anyone can be an awful inconsiderate neighbor. Stop it, you're coming across like a child by constantly throwing in your little jabs at dogs and their owners.

If that's the way you feel, complete the survey. It's not just about making condo boards more powerful. In fact, there's a question about owners being given the power to recall elected board members.

I can attest these people clearly had no idea what they were doing with the dog. They never walked it, never took it outside for bathroom breaks (obviously) and it was a freaking puppy.
As a dog lover and owner for more than 80% of my life I can say that puppies more than any other type of pet need exercise, and lots of it.
No wonder the poor bugger was pounding up and down the stairs all day. Probably playing fetch with himself.
The sad part is the dog was under going surgery, and was probably going to have to be put down. Some complications, it was a chocolate lab.
Once I found out it was a dog i was like oh.. ok, whatever, I can deal with the flippin' noise, till I saw the piss. Then I was upset, understandbly. It was there for a while but we thought it was just the dust making our windows so gross on the patio, then it snowed, and I saw the yellow snow. Things clicked. Oh that and my GF works across the street and watched the dog come outside and piss on the balcony, and then watched it drip down on to our patio.
Spoiler tags for dog piss covered patio:

Egad, that's so gross.
I'm having a problem with neighbours right now and their four giant dogs (I think it's at four right now, hard to tell). They don't clean up the mounds of dog crap in their yard and the stench is overpowering. Also, there is a lot of frozen pee that's starting to melt now so combined with the crap my eyes water when I walk outside. This morning I was working out and cracked a window on the opposite side of my house from the neighbours...what do I smell? Fecal matter and urine instead of fresh air. Truly disgusting, so I feel your pain, although at least it isn't dripping down my windows and onto my property so you definitely had it worse.

Pipe down rub-a-dub.
This is a conversation about a bad dog owner the OP had as a neighbour, so that's what we're discussing. Go talk about hippies and druggies in a thread where you'd be making sense and staying on topic instead of being a little loser in this one.

Pretty much the response I would expect from you at this point.
Way to completely miss the point. The point being it's about bad neighbours. There is a dog owner in this story but the point is they were horrible neighbours with or without a dog because they didn't respect the people around them. These people could be from any walk of life, mentioned in my previous post and they would be awful because they are clearly selfish and ignorant.
These aren't bad dog owners, they are bad people.
Anyone from any walk of life can be an awful neighbour you pointing out that dog owners are inconsiderate is overdone at this point. It just came across as you trying to throw a cheap little shot at dog owners.
You were the only one to mention dog owners specifically as being inconsiderate. Seems to me the original poster was telling his story about his bad neighbours.
Clearly you've noticed I'm not the only one to respond to your post..
To be fair I may have responded to your post a little quickly and probably should have just left it alone. The craziness of your dog attack thread made me do it, haha.

I took that as an minimal acknowledgement that there are responsible dog owners, and I think that is the best you will ever get from Sliver.

I can't disagree with you here. It's also why I included the last line in my post.
The main point I was trying to make was that terrible neighbours are inconsiderate no matter what type of person they are. Whether they are dog owners, drug users, or Canuck fans.
Has less to do with what type of person they are and more to do with the fact that they are disrespectful.
Anyways back to terrible neighbours!

I agree with you, but for me a terrible neighbour who also happens to be a terrible dog owner is the worst combination. I wasn't trying to push buttons or needle at dog owners with my post.
I apologize for calling you a little loser.

Well this thread went off the rails, lock it up mods, the case is closed on the noisy neighbours!

We don't need to lock it up just yet.
I kind of have a story not noise related but neighbour related.
Built my fence last year with agreement from both neighbours on the cost, style etc.
I built what they wanted as I just wanted a fenced yard asap. I actually built a nicer fence and spent extra over what I would have chosen (they wanted a certain style and upgraded materials etc).
They agreed to help, however I ended doing about 80% of the work (and it was a ton of work since we had to dig the posts by hand).
When it was done one neighbour payed immediately. The second did not. I told neighbour #2 that he could just pay here and there if money was an issue.
Well fast forward about a year and nothing. I even feel like they are trying to avoid me. Other than giving him the total I haven't mentioned it since it was finished.
Since then they've gone on trips, etc..
They are nice decent people and I hold nothing against them, but I find it very irritating. I'm pretty reasonable and if he just gave me a heads up saying they just don't have the money I'd probably just let it go.
I feel like I'm being petty but I went above and beyond to accommodate everyone plus the majority of the work (I'm no carpenter that's for sure) and now feel like I'm being avoided.
Anyone dealt with this situation?

Mention it to him. If he's a decent guy he likely just forgot. If he makes up some stupid excuse, paint his side of the fence pink.
