It sure doesn't seem like the kind of deal that would rush a GM into making a week before the trade deadline.
Feaster "Holy crap, Boston just offered us an OK deal for Jarome"
Craig Conroy " TAKE IT!!! TAKE IT!!!" TAKE IT NOW!!!"

Everyone needs to calm down about the conditional pick. This deal is not official. I guarantee it will be something like Koko, Bart, 1st, conditional 2nd on Iggy resigning

I don't understand this supposed condition- isn't the draft before the FA deadline ? or not this year?

Regardless of the return I really hope Iggy signs up on CP and says a goodbye À la Okatoker. Please, please, please.
Ference if you read this please make it happen.

Thanks, Mr Feanie.

A little intellectual honesty here. Is this the face of a guy you want to navigate the flames through the rebuild? Could be like an American political smear campaign.

I think the Flames should not have any captain for the rest of the season. They can just go with the Alternate Captains.

He is also on a one-way contract and has only played 11 NHL games over the past 2 years.
He will also be 25 in 2 months.

I'm hoping this is a bigger deal than we think and it won't be announced until after the game because it involves a player(s) that is playing right now.

LOL a conditional 1st? I knew Feaster was stupid, but not this dumb..
He would be fired on the spot if Gillis did that here.
He bought whatever Koolaid Chiarelli was selling.
Basically Khoklachev for the best player to ever play for the Flames...

If this deal is true, this is a top to bottom failure from ownership to gms to scouts. They confirmed themselves that they were all involved in dealing iginla.
The explanation for this trade will be interesting.

this is year 4 of no playoffs. im calling it now: were beating the 7 year drought. 8-10 years in the wilderness thanks to sutter and general asset mismanagement by this organization.

No, there is just no way that the 1st is conditional. There is just no way. We're all overreacting here and it'll come out in the wash.
