LOL B. Morrow got a better return! Bravo Feaster! A small, skinny Russian with no future in the NHL, a no name prospect, and a late 1st which probably won't amount to anything the way this team drafts. Keep up the great work!

I'm 33 years old and just tried to explain to a 4 year old why daddy had tears....all while my wife made fun of me . Haha....I feel like such a b!tch, but don't even care.
I don't like the B's at all but will gladly cheer them on so he can hoist that cup.

If this is the return I don' know anything about the d man so I can't say anything. I do like Koko though, he is a very gifted skilled player and is a blue chipper imo. A 1st as well which we knew. Wish it could have been more but at least we got a good prospect and a 1st.

I don't get this attitude. Honestly, flames make out pretty well trading a month of iginla playing in meaningless games for a first rounder. Anything else is gravy.

At least Fester can go off the board twice this year. We could end up with three future joe nieuwendyks!

I wonder how long until the Flames call up Khokhlachev?

(If he is indeed part of it)

2nd time this week.

This time it's both "Iginla" and "Iggy"

I had myself worked up for a sort of centerpiece prospect that would really kick start a rebuild. Koko isn't that. Hope he pans out into something special, but initially, I am quite disappointed. Might as well be Koko for Iginla straight up.

It's going to be fun watching the Flames force Bartkowski in to a role he's not ready for just to save face.

I'm %100 going to cry like a lil b!tch, and I don't care.

33 yrs of loving this team, and without question my favourite player ever.

God I hope he wins a cup wherever he goes.

This could be an epic case of good Karma we are witnessing folks.

Koko is a good prospect. Bartkowski seems like a 3rd pairing guy. Plus a late 1st round pick.

I don't know why people here get all that dramatic and upset. Not that it's an outstanding return, but a good prospect + a project + a 1st was a realistic outcome from the beginning.

What's Iggy going to do for the Flames between now and the end of the season that offsets any return for Iggy. Even a 2nd round pick is better than nothing.
