I'm really hoping there's a second 1st rounder in this as well... this return is just too terrible to be true.

Bobby Mac on TSN says Bartkowski, Khoklachev and 1st for Iginla is imminent according to sources close to the Bruins. Not confirmed, he says

This could be quite poetic actually. Ray Bourque, legendary player, perhaps a defensive equivalent of Iggy as far as caliber goes, goes away to the Avs to finally get a well deserved cup. Now it is time for The Bruins to repay the favor, and get an equally deserving legend a cup.
This could be an epic case of good Karma we are witnessing folks.

It's pretty obvious. It's the same thing that happened with the Regehr trade. They had to get some mediocre piece back that's NHL ready. We're still worried about getting guys in the line-up back than getting the best possible return. Incompetent fools, if true.

I'm going to tell myself that Iginla was going to leave at the end of the season anyway, so whatever return we get is at least something, I suppose.

100% speculation I know, but if the return is what is rumored as of now out of Boston I'd rather just keep Iggy. Very unimpressed with a late first pick, and 2 mid level prospects.
Hope that doesn't turn out to be the return.

Because it's basically true. Koko has a decent chance at being a real good player from what I understand, but he's not a home run, and honestly, I'd rather they kept Iginla if that's the entire deal, just because Iginla has sentimental value to me that I don't think I can feel comfortable setting aside for those two players and basically a 2nd rounder.
Kind of anticlimactic.

Is our 2nd rounder in 2014 going to the Bruins in this deal?

I think we all need to realize that Murray Edwards is the one that is doing the trading. Feaster just speaks on his behalf. He's basically a puppet. If the return is as speculated it's another example of why owners should STFU and let the hockey people do their job.

The good news for me is that I would have been cheering for Boston in the east anyway. It'll be nice to watch them in the playoffs.
Also, I got really sad browsing for Iginla images.
