Before Morrow got traded to the Penguins I was hoping for anything close to a 1st rounder. My expectations rose after that. If the Flames get a player in the Russian and do well with their first rounder it should be okay.

Is it really is Koko and Bartkowski, Flames arenīt getting a blue chip prospect back as was expected. That would be really dissapointing.

Clearly Feaster got beaten on this one because if Boston was ever unwilling to do the asking price, I highly doubt this garbage package would have held them back.

Limited suitors and with the Pens making their moves I suppose it could be worse

This. I hope this isn't the final deal because this would be some half assed attempt at a "rebuild" on the fly.
Could have gotten better assets if you had insisted on quality and draft picks.

Have to wonder if this is all on Wisebrod and his opinions...he was part of drafting these guys, no?

It feels like someone's punched me in the gut. If we're trading Iggy we have to gut the rest of this team. I really hope we go all out and do this right.

At this point I don't care about the Flames. I want to see Iggy go somewhwre he gets a chance. If we suck, so be it. The fact this team failed to get the guy a proper centre after 17 seasons tells you how inept we can expect this organization to be going forward.

If it is Boston, then it will include someone who's on the ice in Beantown, and the deal won't be announced until after that game is over.

I really think this is it. This would be bad for us.

Exactly how I feel. How many people on this forum said that the time to trade Iggy was a couple years ago? How many people said the return wasn't what we expected it to be. Well here it is folks. This is it right now. I'm not surprised by the return. If anything positive is to come out of this, it's that the culture change this team has so desperately needed...is happening.
Before we all get the pitchforks out, lets wait for the official annoucement.
However, Button is an ASS for comparing Bart to Butler. Real life trolling at it's finest.

As far as I'm concerned, Weisbrod certainly hasn't been giving very good opinions to Feaster.
Management needs to be torn down like Montreal did last summer. Simply embarrassing.

First of all, I am interested in Koko, I actually think he can turn out to be a solid player.
I know people are not impressed but it may be the best deal and if that is the case, IT is a deal I would take rather than Iggy moving.
Time for a change, i know it sucks, but it's time to unload the rest of this crap now (aka Cammi, Tanguay)
