The Bruins fan base really rate Gaudreau. He'd be an awful lot more than a throw in to any deal.
Iginla + Gaudreau for Hamilton, Spooner & a 1st is what I offer as GM. I don't see the point dealing Iginla for anything less than that.

I was reading this in the voice of R Lee Emery from Full Metal Jacket and it was awesome.
All that was missing was "And that would break my f$$$ing heart"

I'd hope so, but I really don't trust management. Nothing they could do would surprise me really.

|
He is better than them but with them being as young as they are and not elite hard to say that he will make NHL before them, but he should be ranked ahead of them even if only slightly in some eyes.

Rob Kerr: My biggest fear is that they've set the value and won't move off it and that Iginla won't go anywhere.

All of this Subban talk began in the Boston media. Not saying it isn't true, but I'm just saying.

I don't think anyone is over valuing him at all. sure some of the trade with his name in it in this thread maybe out of whack but if you're going to trade 1 of your two prospect that has a legitimate shot of being an NHL scorer you better get something good back.
The Flames organization hasn't had a prospect the caliber of Baertschi or Gaudreau offensively for the better part of two decades. No way Gaudreau's value to THIS organization can be overstated.

I am okay with Iggy+3rd for Subban+ Spooner/Khoko, + 1st
I have no problem with Subban being one of the pieces we get back. Subban, Brossoit, Gillies is a nice crop of goalies to have moving forward. When a team that consists of a 2013 top 5 pick, Gaudreau, Baertschi, Jankowski, Spooner/Khoko Brodie is ready to compete I would feel confident one of those 3 goalies will emerge as an elite stopper

I don't mind that at all provided they think they can re-sign Iginla (assuming he wants to stay). There are a lot of other players the Flames could move for a good return.
