Everytime I see that BMO commercial, with the couple on the couch and the wife wishing they were in Jamaica, I imagine Hartley doing the same, except he wishes he was in Montreal.

As stated, this quote is completely out of context and is not in reference to trades. The video is on the flames home page under the post game video. Go see for yourself. Puckluck trying to stir things up...nothing to see here.

Where does the twitter feed say anything about this being a trade question?
Here, I transposed it for you. Make your own judgement. I do not see this as a trade question.
Millions: At times there seems to be just puck handling issues in terms in your own end. Is that nerves do you think defensively...your group is not that young other than TJ.
Hartley: Well exactly, I addressed this. I feel that with TJ Brodie, we can live with some rookie mistakes. But the veteran group we have, the one thing we should have is poise. Poise and urgency. No one does mistakes on purpose. I know this group and we're with them and we have to find solutions. Solutions are within our locker room. We can't find solutions anywhere else.

Sounds like he's talking about each player taking a look in the mirror and soul searching, and coming up with the answer on how to play more to their capabilities.

He is the coach. He can't come out and say the team isn't good enough and expect to tell his team they need to play to win.
Now if the GM says that again ....

It is very hard to bare to watch frickin' Comeau making costly mistakes in his own end night after night! And the guy plays the same amount of time as Iggy for crying out loud. The answer is plain and simple. Stop playing the guy that often.

Why not?
Two games ago Barry Trotz told the media during his scrum that many players were playing over their head, terrible, to a man, and that some had to show more to prove they were NHLers. This was after a dismal road trip where the team wasn't close to good enough defensively.
Now, obviously, Trotz has the support of the entire organization, so maybe that's why he's able to say those things and why Hartley can't?
Hartley certainly isn't the only Flames coach that has been seemingly compelled to coddle the team rather than give an honest assessment.

I posted the twitter feed comment not knowing it was a trade question since they didn't mention anything.
When I found out it was a comment taken out of context I edited the thread title. You need to relax.

Comeau the last three games:
-3, roughly 16 minutes per game
Iginla the last three games:
-4, roughly 19 minutes per game.
Meh.

I think GM, coach and players are in a holding pattern for the trade deadline. There's no point sending messages, changing tactics, benching players, addressing media, etc. Just ride out the storm to the deadline as that's when assets will have maximum value.
For Iginla, it must be tough knowing that you're being shopped - there's no conceivable way he's not because Feaster/KK would have squashed the persistent rumours if he wasn't. So what happens if Feaster can't find the right return and they keep Jarome? That may be very difficult on Iggy psychologically. So much so that I think he'll feel compelled to leave via UFA if not traded.
