Or no charges have been laid because the investigationis ongoing. Perhaps Chinook is putting together video of buddy's prior actions? Really at this point we don't know. It is still early days.

Putting together video? It takes less than 5 minutes to get a hold of video.

It's not a Rubik's cube.

And how many times have you been involved in this type of incident?

I love your pronouncements of fact.

Never, I don't go to malls to sit on escalators and pick fights with Mall cops.

And if I did, I still wouldn't expect for these loser wannabee cops to start punching me in the head while I had 6 guys on top of me.

Getting video footage doesn't take long and I am sure the police have already looked at it and couldn't find grounds to charge the 31 year old.

When you are on your back and they're trying to put cuffs on you, stop moving. It is a pretty easy way to stop yourself from getting punched, kicked, held down, etc.
But if my shoulder is injured from an accident I was in and the security keeps yanking a arm that won't go i might squirm in pain. Then I might take a couple knees and feel the pressure points of elbows and knees all over my body. No matter how much I try to be perfectly still I might flinch a bit.
Then my head might be slammed into the concrete a couple times and I will now finally be concussed and just take the punishment.

It didnt look like the guy was putting up much of a fight and if he was security needs to revamp their procedures to subdue a guy. It shouldnt take that long/that many guys to get the job done.

5 minutes is plenty of time to solve a Rubik's cube.

One of these things is not like the other.

Perhaps they are getting a legal opinion on the release of the footage. You don't really know, so stop pretending you do.

Release of the footage where?

I love how people just keep talking in clichés without actually making sense.

You may not be cognizant of all the liabilities arising from a situation like this, but I am sure someone at CF/Chinook is aware.

Ok, undercoverbrother. That's why charges haven't been laid.

Charges havent been laid at this point because Calgary Police Service is still conducting an investigation of the incident INCLUDING reviewing videotape of the incident as well as talking to eye witnesses. Charges may or may not be laid to either or both parties in this situation, but it is not something that is decided in 5 minutes like you seem to claim. Footage may need to be seen by the crown among others before any decision is made.

But good old puckluck knows how everything works and what is going on with everything...right?

Sounds more like something that would be par for the course at a NE shopping mall.

Can anyone recommend a mall in town where I can safely sit on the elevators and throw cups of coffee around. If it matters, I am in my 40's though.

I don't know that they have elevators, but that sounds like something that would be perfectly acceptable at Marlborough Mall. Don't forget to hit the Sbarro in the food court.

It depends. Will you be brandishing scissors and screaming at an ashtray?
