His open talk with Darryl 2 episodes back showed some humanity. Also when Tyrese went off on his friend at the pits Martinez stood back and even brought them back to town instead of just shooting him or tossing him into the pit.

Morgan cleared the pit maybe?
I think it was Milton, thou.
Martinez, is loyal. He showed that during his talk with D. Knew he was gonna "go to war" with D et al. but accepted his fate.

Far fetched?

That would make for an incredible story line if accurate. The Governor would have absolutely nothing left to lose!

It would also explain what I thought were his screams as Andrea made her way out of the warehouse.

It clearly was. If he was bit I would take back all my bitching about this episode. Really hope that's the case now.
Also would be happy if it wasn't Milton who burnt the walkers. Seems a bit odd covering it up when there's really only 2 glaring suspects only to practically come out and say it 2 minutes later that it wasn't Tyresse and was Milton. Would be nice way of having The Governor parallel Rick in the sense that he's not completely in his right mind because of all the stress. He blames a loyal(ish) supporter in Milton as he's so sure it was him only to find out it wasn't.

Yeah pretty sure it was Milton... that or it was beard guy (the guy with the son who got into a fight with Tyrese at the pit... I don't remember his name) goes out there to torch the pit because he knows that suspician will fall on Tyrese.

Maybe Rick thought it was just a pair of young lovers doing it in the bushes.
I think Tyrese was the one who burnt the dudes in the pit. wooo!
"where did you find the gasoline?"
"huh?" suckers!

If a walker falls, trips, does it have the motor skills to stand back up?

Clearly they do, all the zombies in the zombie pit were standing. Doubt they tumbled in and landed on their feet.
The torched zombie scence was freakin awesome! Those were some of the creepiest zombies yet.

Obviously Milton burned the pit zombies. He basically admitted it at the end of the episode.

I think Milton supplied, or made available the gasoline for the Walker roast. It looked like back at Woodbury, that Tyrese confessed to doing it but probably didn't think much about the gas since Milton left it somewhere obvious for him to find.

I hope not. I understand what you're saying, but as others have mentioned here, it would be a super-cool twist to set it up as Milton doing it and finding out it was Martinez or someone else.
The Governor-bit-and-turns twist (the idea, at least) is awesome too. I sure hope there's a coolio twist at the end, like Sophia being in the barn in Season 2.

I still hold out hope that it was Morgan that cleared them. That would set up his re-appearance in the final episode.

Writing script for this series would be a blast. I'd get to come up with creative and strange plot twists, devising plot themes to set up coming episodes. Then I'd get to go online to read viewer reactions to my labours. It might be the most awesome job ever.

I would cast Charlize Theron as Andrea!
Hell i would even take Sharon Stone or Cameron Diaz as Andrea.
Or if they followed the comic, Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan as Andrea would be better than Andrea right now.

The obvious flaw in your plan is that writers don't get to do any casting.

I wonder if you would really like that though. Say you wrote what you thought was this amazing piece, then you went online and found all sorts of criticism against it.
I agree though - writing this would be a dream job.
