Calgary has to send Sven down to the minors. They have to.

Hartley likely trying to send a message to Baertschi.

I'm sure Hartley wishes he had someone other than Comeau because he's going to have no choice but to go back to Sven.

Comeau isn't pushing anyone to play better.

Agreed. The kid needs to put on some muscle.

Its kinda funny, Comeau is generally not a very good player. But he sure is around the puck a lot.

That has to mean something

I'm also reasonably sure the only body check so far was the ref's on Thornton.
Nope, Murray rubbed Sven out on the boards, then McG had a talk with him.

Flames are missing the heavy point shot that actually hits the net recently. Teams were backing off earlier in the yr from this and giving the Flames more room to breathe we should get back to that.

So two then?

My point is there is a serious lack of emotion in this game. The Dome's asleep.

Wideman hasn't been too consistent in hitting the net, in part because he's the only shooter from the point. Gio has been willing but nothing really comes out of it. Times like this you had a more mobile Babchuck.

Man. You can really tell Pronger wants to get back on the ice. Concussions are the worst. Still had a HOF career though.

I think Pronger will be back someday since he hasn't given up on a comeback like everyone expected. Really based on his play he still had a good 3-4 years left in him, and would be an integrable part of the Flyers core.

We sure Sven wasn't shaken up a little.

Took a big bump from Murray, who Mcgrattan promptly went after, then didn't have a shift after that.

I bet the folks at ATB were all like "ok let's pick a fan favorite, Marc Giordano to do our commercials"

Man, that's blown up in their faces.

If a person's peripheral vision is effected to such large extent, it'd be tough to play effectively again. Bummer.

Yup. Top 5 at his position all time, or there abouts. Too bad, but he appears to be doing pretty good, all things considered, so I don't have TOO much sympathy.
