I think the Flames have some set play where the dman sends the puck hard towards the boards where the winger just directs it into the attacking zone, then they can start the for check. But it never works.
That's the only reason I can fathom for the obscene amount of icings

Well, the one positive from that period is that the Flames didn't completely throw in the towel like they usually do after having a lead. Game is tied going into the 3rd against a superior team. I'll take it.

Flames are playing well but blowing way too many opportunities by missing the net or just making bad decisions with the puck. They have been good in the D zone but two terrible shifts almost put them behind 2-1.

Well, Baertschi has been terrible so far tonight. Comeau has played well though is a disaster whenever he gets the puck or is anywhere near a scoring chance. Baertschi getting knocked around way too much.
