Sigh. I'm saying he's been pretty solid despite the fact that his upside is 5/6. All the better that he's been playing quite well in a #4 Dman role.

Comeau, now there's a guy that deserves some derision. Terrible.

That being said, it was a good first period, don't want to discount that. They just aren't capable of doing it consistently.
how are we drinking the kool-aid?

1) Colorado meltdown #1 - 1 point lost minimum
2) Colorado meltdown #2 - 2 points lost
3) Chicago meltdown - 1 point

Those are 4 points minimum they should have.

Flames should have 24-25 points this season.

It's not a 25th place team.

Flames own the Hitmn, but thre is no other direct affiliation between the teams.

I never used to understand why linesmen waved off so many icings, but with all the ones I've seen in the last few games, I understand why.

Defense have bad gap control right now, just letting sharks walk in cause they are backed up to far. Need to be a bit more aggressive

I agree with the second part not the first. Bouwmeester goes there and he is the best defenseman but I doubt they trade for him.

It's likely that many teams can look at certain games were they 'lost' points they should have had. I agree they are not a 25th place team, but I can't buy into this argument.

The Flames forwards track the puck on the back check very poorly. Tough to have gap control.

They don't give play-off spots based on should have and there are games that go the other way for the Flames.

Comeau should have just driven to the front of the net. Not sure why he pulled up and tried to go short side.
