Baertschi hasn't shown me any reason why he should be getting top 6 minutes.
That said, it does make me shake my head that if he can't break that barrier yet why he isn't playing top line minutes over in Abbotsford.

Bouw has some roots here and maybe unwilling to waive his NTC and may want to sign long term.
He lacks Gio's intensity and passion though.

At this point if I had to pick one or the other, absolutely, and as someone said, maybe Gio's perception around the league is better then his average play now.
Giordano has not looked the same since the guy that had faith in him, Darryl, left.

What a joke, yes he has. Hard to show true potential with 8 minutes a game.
Even when he does get ice time he plays with scrubs.

That would have to do with The two "penalties" the Flames got, but no need to worry about anymore power plays for the cannucks, in the first period they have all ready maxed out on their average power plays per game and will not get any more.
