Good thing we have some good goaltenders in the organization, because when Kipper is no longer a flame we will need them .

I'm looking forward to seeing what MacDonald can do on Sunday night. Hard to come off an injury and get thrown into the fire, unexpectedly.

Once Kipper comes back, they need to know who to keep, and who to trade.

Ya, getting outshot 15 - 5 is total domination for sure.

The Flames were the better team in the 2nd. Unfortunately, the Blues were the much much much better team in the 1st.

I think you're right in the first, but wrong in the second period, the second seemed not that bad. But, obviously an objective / opinion thing here.

I would definitely expect the same score with MacDonald in net.
I didnt like either of the two Leland let in. Im not saying they were "easy saves" Im just saying they were not great goals. A save when it counts is the difference between a NHL goalie and everyone else. Both goals could have been saved.

St. Louis hasn't even been that good tonight, Flames handed them the game on a silver platter with bad turnovers.

?? The powerplays accounted for just over 4 minutes due to the quick Wideman goal and the Blues also had 2 minutes of powerplay time.

The first goal is a goal 99% of the time. You can't give an NHLer 5 seconds alone in front of the net. That was a good goal.

Shots = domination? Shots = winning? Points are all that matters, I don't care if you put 100 shots on net, if you don't win they mean nothing. Remember when Calgary dominated Chicago a couple weeks back and outshot them 3:1? We didn't get the two points from that game? What!?

"Not that bad" is a far cry from a dominant period when down 4-0 after being embarrassed in the first and the first half of the second.

You mean the last half of the second period when they looked as if they had finally woken up and decided to start skating? No I caught that, did you see something I didn't?

Iginla needs another 04 teammate to call him out in the media.

What's Shean Donovan up to these days? Nilson maybe?
