Flames not bad in the second but just like every other time we've heard it, you have to play 60 minutes. This team is not very good. Again. Sigh.

Did you black out for 35 minutes of this game? It's been men vs boys for the vast majority of 40 minutes, bounces aside the Blues have been a much better team tonight.

Take your head out of your butt... Good low shot that produced a juicy rebound.

Flames lead in shots in the 2nd, 15 - 5.
For some reason I still have hope for the 3rd.
On a side note, after reading through this thread I've realized I might be the only person who isn't drinking now.

Blah. I want him to injure some blues with that shot in the 3rd. Kapow off Shattenkirk's ankle!
Kapow off Peterangelo's forearm!
Kapow off Jackman's diving ass!

Just hope they don't get too down on themselves. It's not quite as catastrophic, losing this game, as many on here seem to think it is. They're 4-5-3 after tonight... a 2 game win streak (which is pretty possible) and those same fans that are writing them off will be back all happy.
Some people on here need to calm down slightly... it's not like they're not trying at all like in previous years. They're having a bad game.

I like your thinking... Anton we want you to rip away shots at the Blues D man in front of the net. Ok coach.

Hate to split hairs but the DIFFERENCE (score board wise) is a couple bounces.

if they can get one more before the end of the period, they have a fighting chance.

I like MacDonald.
Nice to see the steady work of an NHL level goalie doing his thing back there.
Makes me not need to piss myself everytime there's a half difficult shot on net.
Game could be 4-2 or 4-3 easily. of course the bounces, as always, aren't going our way. Still need a full 3rd period effort to help me forget about how horrible they played the 1st.
If they can own the final frame and make it close, I might be able to get over this though.

That is a dive.

If Irving was quality start, it'd be 3-1. With any backup, it'd still be 4-1.
Wideman handed two quality chances on a silver platter. One of them you would expect a starter to get, but would be unlikely for a backup to grab.
I would definitely expect the same score with MacDonald in net.
